Thiago the joker
Thiago Alcantara was standing talking to Liverpool first-team assistant goalkeeping coach Jack Robinson when manager Jurgen Klopp wandered over to join in with the conversation.
The manager pretends to head a ball with his hands in his pockets as Thaigo smiles before Klopp then laughs loudly at whatever the Spain international's response was.
Clearly it hasn't taken too long for the new signing to settle in and show his infectious personality, which will no doubt delight Liverpool fans desperate to see him bed in rapidly and strut his stuff on the pitch again like he did at Chelsea.
New signings linking up
During the players ball work session, as thousands of Liverpool have already seen, Thiago showed off some wonderful pieces of skill.
But more than that, he paired up with fellow new signing Diogo Jota and the pair could be seen happily flicking and volleying the ball back towards one another.
Thaigo at one point cheekily bounces the ball off his shoulder as Trent Alexander-Arnold watches on before knocking one back with the outside of his boot too.
Transfer targets involved
Liverpool are open to offers and have fielded enquiries for both Harry Wilson and Rhian Brewster, however, the duo were involved in the small inter-squad pass and move game during the session on Friday.
The Reds attacking and midfield stars were also taking part in the game including the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Thiago and Gini Wijnaldum while Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold featured too.
Thiago's name could audibly be heard on a number of occasions as a testament to how much he was getting on the ball and finding space in the fast-paced game.
'Hallelujah' Sadio Mane
When the game opened up to include goals at either end Thiago found Brewster with a wonderful cutting pass before the young striker showed good feet to slot home past Loris Karius while under pressure from Wijnaldum.
At the other end Firmino reacted really sharply to intercept a pass from Robertson to Gomez and fire into the back of the net past Caoimhin Kelleher.
Mane then started off a fantastic move with interplay involving Naby Keita, before Robertson whipped it down the line for Thiago to set back for Mane to run onto and fire the ball into the back of the net from distance prompting a cry of 'hallelujah' from one of the Liverpool coaches.
Both Thiago and Wijnaldum also grabbed a goal in the session.
Competition never stops
Standing in a line between two cones, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson and Roberto Firmino are faced one way and upon hearing a call all three players sharply turned on the spot before spinning back around and jogging towards a mannequin.
They then had to sprint back towards the cones from where they came or were made to sprint forward past cones a few yards further forward upon watching one of Liverpool's fitness coaches either hold or bounce a ball - with each signal giving the players a different instruction.
The competition is endless when you are Premier League champions with opposition teams desperate to knock you off your perch.
And clearly everybody inside the Reds camp don't let up on each other either as Robertson shouted to Gomes "welcome back Joey" having beaten him in the sprint.
The trio then returned to have another go only for Gomez to display his pace and beat Robertson in the second round with Firmino just coming second.
Robertson ends up being punished for losing and having to jump three times with knees to his chest while he laughs and motions to Gomez after the England international's quick win.
