Thiago Alcantara has sent a message to Liverpool fans after testing positive for Covid-19 and entering self-isolation.
The Spaniard, who arrived for £20m from Bayern Munich this month, was confirmed to have picked up the virus after two separate tests came back with the result.
It saw the midfielder miss the Reds’ 3-1 win over Arsenal and has ruled him out for the teams’ Carabao Cup meeting on Thursday as well as a visit to Aston Villa on October 4.
But Thiago only needed three words to send a message to the Anfield faithful on his current condition.
Writing on his official Twitter channel, the 29-year-old said “time to heal” with a muscle emoji.

The Spaniard blew fans away on his debut against Chelsea, which came two days after his arrival at Anfield, as he broke a Premier League record in 45 minutes.
Liverpool’s new midfielder immediately went into quarantine when the test was carried out last week, enough time to ensure the virus did not spread through the rest of the squad.
He has been forced to isolate on Merseyside, and will not be able to leave him home until after next weekend.
Jurgen Klopp has said the 29-year-old will be available after the international break, which could see him make a return against fellow unbeaten side and Merseyside rivals Everton on October 17.
The club’s medics have revealed that Thaigo exhibited only mild symptoms of the virus, and is in good health and getting better.
LFC first-team doctor, Dr Jim Moxon, said: “It is the choice of each individual whether they reveal publicly the outcome of a COVID-19 test.

“We have followed all the protocols to the letter and Thiago is OK.
"He will be self-isolating now as per the guidelines and hopefully he’ll be back with us soon.”
Thiago has already impressed several pundits since his arrival at Anfield – and goalkeeper Alisson believes the midfielder’s “top blood” will benefit Liverpool.
