Fans had been excited regarding the potential of Thiago joining for a while - and some had already decided on a song to sing once back in full voice in stadiums.
Set to the tune of 'Cuba' by the Gibson Brothers, some lyrics dedicated to the new midfielder were thrashed out before he had even played a game.

It was revealed that Thiago has watched the music video and seen messages from Kopites sharing his new song - and he is a big fan.
And with 10,00 supporters back at Anfield this afternoon to watch the Reds against Crystal Palace, the new signing was finally serenaded with his song.
Liverpool were hoping for a win to finish the campaign on a high and qualify for the Champions League next term. With 80 minutes gone, they were 2-0 up.
