Paul Merson has warned that Chelsea will struggle to get a result against Leeds United if the Whites outrun them.
Leeds make the trip to Stamford Bridge this evening looking to continue the run of promising performances since the international break.
After outperforming Arsenal in a goalless draw, the Whites then beat Everton last weekend thanks to Rapinha's fine late goal.
They now face a tough test against a big-spending Chelsea team that look potential title contenders this season.
Merson believes Chelsea have the better players and should come out on top if things are even.
Yet, speaking on Sky Sports News, the popular pundit said that, if Chelsea fail to match Leeds' energy, then they will find life difficult against Marcelo Bielsa's side.
He said: "You have to match Leeds because they are so fit. They just constantly keep on running.
"They’ve got skill, they can pick a pass, they all know what they’re doing – it’s phenomenal watching them. I love watching them play.
"Tonight, it’s a very, very difficult game for Chelsea. If they don’t match Leeds – their endeavour, their hard work, and everything about Leeds – Chelsea will come unstuck. They will come unstuck.
"We’ve seen it. Arsenal should have come unstuck – couldn’t match them and they were unlucky. At times, Everton couldn’t match them and they had so many matches.
"If Chelsea match them, and they match them for everything they do, then I think there’s only one winner because they’ve got better players all over the pitch. But you've got to match them."
