'They've nicked me, mate': East 17 singer Brian Harvey arrested in bizarre video

Former East 17 singer Brian Harvey has posted footage appearing to show his own arrest.

In the video released on his YouTube channel, the 44-year-old is seen handcuffed and surrounded by police as he explains he has been arrested for "malicious communication".

Harvey says to a friend "they've nicked me, mate", and tells officers that the handcuffs are "cutting to the bone".

The video, titled "Me Arrested" is understood to show a police callout on March 21.
