'They showed character' Video verdict from Nottingham Forest's draw with Blackburn Rovers

Nottingham Forest may not have made it four wins away from home on the spin in the Championship, but they did produce another resolute display on the road to earn a valuable 1-1 draw at Blackburn Rovers – which has not been a happy hunting ground in recent years.

In backing up Friday’s 3-2 win at Stoke City, Forest fell behind here to Adam Armstrong’s clever finish on 63 minutes, though they didn’t have to wait long to hit back and get level.

Just two minutes in fact, when Joe Lolley picked up the ball and lashed it into the bottom of Christian Walton’s net.

Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds came under severe pressure in the closing stages, they did however, stand firm and hold on to remain unbeaten on the road so far this term, only remaining off the top of the league on goal difference.

After the match at Ewood Park, Barry Cooper and Sarah Clapson reflected on another spirited away display from Forest.
