'They even have to make their kit launches about us' - Nottingham Forest fans poke fun at Derby County's kit launch

Nottingham Forest fans have been poking fun at rivals Derby County's for their latest kit launch.

Reds fans were left bemused after the Rams used promotional shots of their new 2019/20 kit to gloat about a victory over Forest from over five years ago.

Back in March 2014, Billy Davies' side were beaten 5-0 at Pride Park in a game that, at the time, revived Derby's automatic promotion hopes at the right end of the Championship table - and it saw the back of the fiery Scot.

However, come May, Steve McLaren's side finished third and eight points behind Burnley in second.

But even five years and three months on from their emphatic victory, the Rams are still basking in the glory of that day and made a cheeky reference to the win during their kit launch, with the score line printed in sizable font behind striker Mason Bennet.

And now Forest fans have been having a little dig at their arch-rivals for living in the past...
