Chelsea wonderkid Billy Gilmour looks set to miss Scotland's Euro 2020 play-off games later this month.
This is because he's been named in the U21' squad for Euro Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Croatia and Greece
With the senior side in action against Isreal and potentially Norway/Serbia it seems unlikely that Gilmour's brilliant outings against Liverpool and Everton won't get him fast-tracked for now.
Ex-Scotland midfielder Charlie Adam agrees with the decision.
"I don't think he should be in the senior squad," he told BBC's Sportsound. "If he's not going to play, why just have him there? If he's going to be playing for the under-21s, he's going to get another two games.
"Being in the 21s will be good for him.
He's a talent, best player we've had for a long time. It's good to see such a young kid playing with a smile on his face.
"He's been terrific for the two games."
But it's safe to say that a number of Chelsea fans feel that Gilmour should be in the senior squad.
Take a look at what's been said on Twitter...
Gilmour will have to wait a little while longer to make his senior Scotland debut, but did get his full Premier League bow at the weekend and described it as a dream come true.
"It was amazing, a dream come true to make my full debut in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports.
"But most of all getting the three points and carrying on winning, and hopefully we continue that moving forward."
