'They don't pass us the ball much' - Liverpool's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain explains Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane similarities

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed the one thing his Liverpool team-mates Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have in common.

The Reds midfielder jokingly explained how both Salah or Mane prefer to shoot rather than pass the ball.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was speaking at the launch of 'Roar! for Diversity', which is a new competition and resource for children aged 7 to 11 launched by the Premier League in partnership with the England and Wales Cricket board.

As cited by the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old said: "Something that Sadio and Mo have in common is that they don't pass us the ball much, that would be the main thing – they like shooting a lot!"

"They're both from Africa and they're both Muslims," Oxlade-Chamberlain added.

"They're two players in our team that have different periods of the season when they have Ramadan which is a testing time for them because they don't get to eat and drink at the same time as the rest of the team."

Salah has scored six goals in the Premier League this term, meanwhile Mane has notched eight times in England's top flight.

Both Liverpool forwards will be looking to add to their respective tallies as Everton visit Anfield on Wednesday night.
