These tiny changes could mean your partner is cheating on you

Suspecting that your partner is cheating on you is a horrible feeling.

The dread can completely take over your life as you spend time looking for red flags and signs that might confirm your worst fears.

A quarter of Brits admit they've cheated in the past and 29% of people sadly believe their current partner is cheating on them, the  Mirror reports .

So what should we be looking out for?

According to some research there are a few changes you may notice in your partner which could give the game away.

They are:

  • They start working late
  • They start keeping their phone by their side at all times
  • They start spending time with friends you've never met
  • They change the password on your phone
  • They change their style and their clothes
  • They start wearing a new perfume or aftershave
  • They start wanting more sex
  • They decide to delete their Facebook account
  • They have new tastes and demands in the bedroom
  • They start eating foods they weren't eating before
  • They start buying you unexpected presents
  • They start complaining they're always tired

The research also found 81 per cent of the 1,000 people asked said an affair was much worse if you are married compared to if you were just co-habiting.

Nearly half of the study said there was no way they could ever forgive their husband or wife if they had an affair, but a 39 per cent thought they would try to make a go of it.

One in ten said they were far more likely to forgive a one-night stand than a full-blown affair.

Interestingly – 13 per cent would happily turn a blind eye to their partner's cheating ways if their own relationship was better in the long run because of it.
