Sometime last month I got a random urge to grab a PS5. Why? I don’t actually know, but I’ve now spent too much time on YouTube watching videos and going down the rabbit hole of all the video games I used to play. And now I’m deciding to buy one with the unrealistic expectation that it’ll magically give me that gaming passion that I once had when back when I was a young kid.
Silly me. It turns out that not only are these consoles EXPENSIVE nowadays (they were always expensive but it was mom’s and dad’s money back then) but actually getting your hands on one of these things is like trying to purchase toilet paper at the beginning of quarantine. So as I await the day that I’m able to actually get my hands on a new gaming system, I’m stuck reminiscing on the good ole days.
