Sonic The Hedgehog released its trailer and, well, fans had a field day.
The little - furry - blue character had everyone confused with his new look as he starred alongside Jim Carrey as Egg man all set to Gangsta's Paradise.
Twitter was quick to react and it did not disappoint.
Sonic's look was quickly rinsed and a flood of memes, questions - so many questions - and thoughts were shared.
It was like a fan's therapy session on speed (see what we did there?)
Firstly, people were wondering why we needed two minutes of Gangsta's Paradise, but secondly, people asked why Sonic has such a weird body.
There's also those weird human teeth.
There's also the whole biology question...
We really want to see this version.
The film, which is directed by Jeff Fowler, is released in November and stars Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, James Marsden as Tom Wachowski and Neal McDonough.
Sonic the Hedgehog is released in cinemas on November 7, 2019.
