The Reds and Leeds both slipped up in their bids to get to the Premier League at the weekend, Marcelo Bielsa’s men beaten at home to lowly Wigan Athletic, and Forest suffering defeat away against Birmingham City.
They now go head-to-head in a mouth-watering clash on Saturday, shown live on Sky Sports.
Forest can move within a point of Leeds if they secure victory at the City Ground, taking another step closer to a return to the top flight.
They will need the home crowd on top form once again – and some fan favourites look set to join the supporters Trentside.
Guy Moussi spent six years with Forest and appeared to suggest another midfielder, the popular Radoslaw Majewski, will be backing a home win.
“Can’t wait for the game this week end against Leeds,” Moussi tweeted. “I know the atmosphere will be electric and we will have one of our own coming back aka RADOSLAW MAJEWSKI.”
Majewski scored 19 goals in 163 appearances for Forest.
