These Newcastle pubs are all giving away free drinks for Cheer Up January

January is a month when we could all do with a little pick me up, without the need of spending much to get it and a whole host of pubs in Newcastle are looking to raise a smile by offering customers FREE drinks.

As part of their Cheer Up January initiative, Great British Pubs are offering 100,000 drinks with a choice of 20 beverages including favourite booze brands and non alcoholic drinks for absolutely nothing. And unlike other deals, there is no catch either!

The month-long promotion allows drinkers to enjoy the likes Of Gordon's gin and Gordon's pink for free, as well as Fosters and Kronenbourg lagers and Strongbow and Strongbow Dark Fruits.

If you're doing Dry January, you can still look the part by supping on a free Heineken 0.0, Rekorderlig and Old Mout alcohol free, with other soft drink freebies including J2O and Pepsi Max.

A number of pubs in and around Tyneside are taking part in Cheer Up January, they are:

*Blacksmith's Arms, Gosforth

*The Windsor, Kingston Park

*Killingworth Arms

*The Alexandra, North Shields

*Lord Nelson Hotel, Jarrow

*Cottage Tavern, Cleadon

*Biddick Inn, Washington

*Garden Farm, Chester-le-Street

*Miners Arms, Consett

All you need to do to get your free drink is sign up to the Cheer Up January moble app with your email, choose your local pub, select your drink and take your mobile into the pub to claim your freebie.
