Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has been shortlisted for the Premier League manager of the month award for August.

The Palace boss is one of four managers on the shortlist after guiding Palace to two wins from their first four matches in the Premier League this season.

Palace currently sit fourth after back-to-back wins against Manchester United and Aston Villa, with the Eagles having seven points from their first four matches.

But the former Liverpool, West Brom and England boss faces tough competition for the award, with the managers of the three sides ahead of Palace in the table also shortlisted.

They are Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers.

And with Liverpool leading the way after four wins from their first four games, it is clear what Reds fans are thinking when it comes to the shortlist.
