These Leicester City fans are all saying the same thing about Eden Hazard and Tottenham

Three years ago today (Thursday), the 2nd May 2016. It's a date that probably doesn't mean much to the average football fan.

But for at least one set of fans it is ingrained into their memories.

It was the day that Chelsea drew 2-2 with Spurs, a draw that confirmed Leicester City as Premier League champions at odds of 5000/1.

It was Chelsea's main man Eden Hazard who got the crucial goal to draw the Blues level in the 83rd minute, when his curling shot nestled beyond Hugo Lloris and into the top corner.

While the Leicester squad and staff of that season rightly take all of the adulation and credit of the Foxes fans - after all they did go onto win the league by a 10 point margin - there is no doubt that that goal ensures that there is a little space in every Leicester fans hearts for Eden Hazard.

Now, three years on from that night at Stamford Bridge, some Leicester fans have branded May 2nd as 'Eden Hazard day' in appreciation of the Belgian's vital contribution to a memorable night for the Foxes.

And Leicester fans have been taking to social media to celebrate the Chelsea man's goal that made the impossible possible. See some of the best below.

But could there be a twist in the tale this season?

Spurs are currently in a battle to finish in the top four in the Premier League, with Leicester set to face their rivals Chelsea on the final day of the season.

And the potential irony of the situation has not been lost on this Leicester fan, as can be seen below.
