Hunza G's super stretchy crinkled swimwear has been insanely popular in recent years. The brand was born in 1984, and back in the 90s, Julia Roberts wore a dress in the signature fabric for the film Pretty Woman. Fast forward forty years, and the revival is going so strong that they just launched a collaboration with Burberry.
It's one of the best swimsuit brands you can buy, but you have to try the famous one-size-fits-all fabric to believe quite how good it is. According to the website, "Hunza G's one size stance is not only an effort to remain an inclusive brand, but also reduces the risk of over-purchased sizing on a commercial level. Ethical and comfortable, each piece will see you through a lifetime and all that it brings – pre, during, and post pregnancy – as well as any other life changes your body goes through. Hunza G places emphasis on timeless pieces that hold the same value today as they will in the future. If looked after carefully, they can be passed down through the generations."
I added a navy Hunza G one-piece to my own summer capsule wardrobe a while ago, and it's now my must-have item when deciding what to pack in hand luggage. Considering the cost per wear, you can totally justify the price tag - Hunza G's swimming costumes are around the £175 mark - but equally, you don't have to splash the cash.
In the last few seasons, I've watched as the Hunza G lookalikes have just got better and better. Towelling, seersucker, crinkle, ribbed - you name it. Trust us when we say you'll be hard-pressed to tell the difference between some of our real vs steal options. My advice is to save up for the real deal, and buy yourself a more budget-friendly alternative to tide you over in the meantime. Tempted? Dive in to style here....
Hunza G Domino
With a flattering scoop neckline and Noughties-inspired tortoiseshell hoop detailing on the straps, the 'Domino' is one of Hunza G's most popular styles. Chrissy Teigen and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are both fans.
This rich green shade will work really well on warm skin tones, and the hoops are a very chic detail.
For a whopping £169 less, this Accessorize option is spot on. It's available in sizes S, M and L, and the scoop back is really similar to the Hunza G.
Hunza G Striped
Stripes are a summertime classic, particularly in navy blue and white. This one has got to be our top pick for 2026.
This striped one-piece is so comfortable and easy to wear. Trust me when I say the clever material stretches like nothing you've ever tried before.
Our personal favourite, this nautical but nice one-piece is top of our holiday wardrobe wishlist. It's machine washable, which is such a bonus, and one customer wrote: "Great cut, not too revealing nor too covered up. Good support and tummy holding without being restrictive"
Hunza G Pamela
Pamela is a simple spaghetti strap style that will never date. The stretchy fabric on Hunza G swimsuits means you can adjust the coverage, and we couldn't do a swimwear round-up without bringing you a Baywatch red moment, now could we?
This sleek design will double up as a bodysuit to wear with wide-leg trousers in the evenings on holiday, too.
Even we're struggling to tell the difference between these. Sometimes the simplest styles are the best, and this one is available in sizes XS to XL.
Hunza G Square Neck
Hunza's square neck swimsuit is available in a rainbow of different colours, but you'll never go too far wrong with classic black. It's the swimwear equivalent of a designer LBD.
A timeless classic, if you're only going to add one Hunza G cossie to your summer suitcase, make it this. The level of comfort is unrivalled - no straps falling down all the time, and no edges digging in. Hurrah!
M&S is really on a roll this season, and that goes for the British clothing brand's swimwear range, too. This is available in UK sizes 6 to 24, and in regular and long lengths.
Hunza G Halterneck swimsuit
Halterneck shapes work well for larger busts, plus cobalt blue is a shade Hunza G does really well. Great for people with cool undertones, it will complement a sunkissed glow perfectly.
Don't wait for Hunza G to go on sale because it rarely happens. The fabric composition is 97% polyamide, 3% elastane, but you really can't imagine how stretchy they are until you try them on.
I have H&M's padded cup swimsuit in my collection, and I have to admit, it's just as good as my real Hunza G styles. H&M swimwear is my top high street tip, and although one-pieces like this often sell out, keep checking back for restocks. It will be worth it!
Hunza G Green Swimsuit
A highlighter hue like this is a surefire way to make sure all eyes are on you when you're relaxing by the pool on holiday.
If you're wondering what colour suits me, emerald green is well worth a second thought. This colour will look amazing with gold jewellery and black linen trousers.
This is a super popular style on Amazon, so we predict a sell-out. The animal embossed effect makes it stand out from the crowd.
Hunza G Coverage
Looking for a bit more coverage? This black and white one-piece by Hunza G has got your back. According to the website, this style has "better bust support, more material in the body, and a lower leg line with an adjustable fit... designed with a little more material in them, these pieces are perfect whether you're looking for better bust support, more length in the body, or simply a little more coverage all-over."
You really do only need to take one Hunza G swimsuit on holiday. You won't want to wear anything else!
Available in cup sizes DD to G, this clever swimsuit is wired for a supportive fit. Ideal if you love Hunza G but need more support.
Hunza G Bikini
If you prefer a bikini, Hunza G does those brilliantly, too. I particularly love their flattering high waisted designs.
A great twist on a classic two-piece, this set is going to be a staple in your holiday suitcase for years to come.
This option from Sainsbury's looks much more expensive than it is. Frankly, it would be rude not to snap this up while you're doing your weekly shop.

We love a tankini, since they offer you all the coverage of a swimsuit with the flexibility of a bikini. These stripes are very Hunza-esque.
This made it to our shortlist of the best swimwear for women over 50, and it's the most affordable Hunza G dupe I've come across.
If you're a fan of tummy control swimsuits, this one-piece has got a shaping mesh panel for a smooth silhouette, as well as a non-wired, non-padded bust. The colour is beautiful, isn't it?
FAQs
Why is Hunza G so popular?
The one-size-fits-all approach and the idea that your swimsuit will grow and change with you have really revolutionised the swimwear industry. From my own personal experience, Hunza G swimsuits are ludicrously comfortable. Certainly, they don't offer the most amount of support compared to underwired styles or the best tummy control swimsuits, but the thick fabric and high-quality designs really give off a Quiet Luxury feel.
