These Giltbrook retail park stores are open and Ikea reopening date

It's often a busy shopping spot for Nottinghamshire but only a few stores remain open at Giltbrook retail park.

The shopping park is home to household names including Ikea, Decathlon, Barker and Stonehouse and Harveys.

Often busy with weekend shoppers, the retail park has closed a number of its stores during the lockdown.

Eateries including Frankie & Benny's, Nando's and Pizza Express have all shut in line with government orders to help combat the spread of Covid-19.

People are now allowed to travel anywhere in England as long as they follow social distancing guidelines.

Here is the list of the stores are currently open for essential shopping:

  • Boots
  • Pets at Home
  • Wilko
  • Screwfix - for click & collect only
  • Decathlon - for click & collect only

The policies and opening times of stores will vary, so Giltbrook Shopping Park always encourages checking directly with the retailers before setting off.

Ikea is set reopen 19 stores across England and Northern Ireland from June 1 with a new series of safety measures to ensure social distancing - including the store at Giltbrook.
