Christian Pulisic is once again the talk of the Chelsea fans after impressing off the bench for the Blues against Ajax.
The American international started on the bench for the Champions League game in Amsterdam, despite earning praise from manager Frank Lampard after his performance against Newcastle United on Saturday, having come off the bench and helped the Blues to victory with his part in the winning goal.
But for the second game in succession, Pulisic had a big impact from the bench for Chelsea ,he American international providing the cross for fellow substitute Michy Batshuayi to fire home the winning goal.
Speaking after the game, Lampard hailed Pulisic's contribution off the bench as "outstanding", while he also spoke about what has impressed him about the 21-year-old.
"You have to give Christian huge credit," he said, speaking in his post-match press conference .
"I have got belief in the players. It is tough to leave people out.
"The performance tonight and the last couple off the bench might show that. I didn’t listen to the outside talk. I understood the quality of Christian, he is just 21. I have options.
"Christian wants to know what is going on always. I have stayed calm with it. He wants to do well. Training like he has makes me very happy."
And Lampard was not the only one singing the praises of the American international, with many Chelsea fans waxing lyrical about Pulisic, with a clear message for the Blues' head coach, as can be seen below.
