Matching your footwear with your brunch plate is now most definitely a thing courtesy of these eye-catching avocado on toast inspired trainers.
Capturing the millennial generation’s love of all things avocado, these “Saucamole” trainers from Saucony Originals will leave fashion fans hungry for more.
The tasty trainers feature contrasting panels designed to resemble the humble snack; with toast-coloured leather topped with “smashed avocado” textured suede and a “red pepper flake” collar lining.
With a description that reads ‘Holy Saucamole!’, the men’s Avocado Toast Shadow 6000 trainers come complete with “Saucamole” shout out on the heal – just in case the avocado link wasn’t clear enough.
The latest limited edition offering from the footwear giant, the trainers will see millennials the world over dipping into their savings, with the exclusive trainers retailing at $130 (£97).
Taking to instagram, the brand declared “It’s everything you avo-wanted, even if the guac is extra.”
Within minutes, fans took to the social media platform in their thousands to express their desire for the fresh footwear.
“What is this madness?” said one user.
“You’re joking. This is everything to me,” echoed one avo-obsessed fan.
“Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during your focus group testing for this line,” declared another.
It’s not the first time the brand has made food-themed shoes. The company’s also made sneaks that look like astronaut ice cream, bacon and eggs, lobsters, Irish coffee and in 2014, the Massachusetts running brand released the "Shadow 5000 Burger" – a collaboration with menswear label END – to the excitement of fast-food fans everywhere.
Between the meat patties and avocado-inspired offerings, who knows what’s next for the US footwear brand.
