These are the TV shows that people from Edinburgh love to complain about the most

People from Edinburgh have a bit of a reputation for being - well - slightly grumpy.

We're nothing compared to Londoners, of course - with their refusal to speak to other people on public transport and their habit of glaring at passers-by, but we're not too far away from that.

Especially at this time of year when people are thrusting Fringe flyers into our faces every two steps.

But some people take that grumpiness one step further and actually pick up the phone to complain about things. Namely - TV shows.

Edinburghers were responsible for the second-highest number of complaints in Scotland per 10,000 inhabitants, beaten only by Motherwell with whom we clearly have a lot in common.

Online bingo site BuzzBingo contacted Ofcom to find out what shows tick us off the most, and the results might surprise you. Or maybe they won't, because you've all complained about them.

At the top of the list for complaints was Celebrity Big Brother (155 complaints), not hugely surprising given that the 2018 competition was the most complained about show of the year.

After CBB comes ITV's Loose Women, which 75 people from Edinburgh complained about. 39 people complained about Love Island, while both Sky and Channel 4 news got 15 complaints from Edinburgh each.

Sadly, you can't change the news by complaining about it, but it was worth a try.

These are the rest of the 10 shows people from Edinburgh complained about the most in the past 12 months.
