These are the nations reporting no Covid-19 deaths - and countries that are coronavirus-free

The full impact of the deadly Covid-19 virus is being felt around the world with deaths now exceeding 500,000.

Lockdown restrictions of varying severity are in place in many countries with borders still closed for some in a bid to limit the spread of the bug.

Social distancing and lockdown measures have become the new normal for many, as shops, bars and restaurants close, and public gatherings are restricted, reports MirrorOnline.

However, a number of countries are currently reporting no deaths at all with a few locations reporting zero infections since the start of the pandemic.

There are some countries that are now Covid-free after eradicating the virus.

Countries with no reported cases

Some nations have managed to escape the pandemic without a single reported case of coronavirus.

Currently these include: Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, North Korea, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

The Isle of Man also reports no current cases after 336 cases resulted in 312 recoveries and 24 deaths.

Also reporting no current coronavirus cases are Brunei, Aruba, Barbados, Liechtenstein, Sint Maarten, Monserrat, and the British Virgin Islands.

The Faroe Islands had the highest number of cases out of the countries with no active cases, where all cases recovered.

Some 187 people were reported to have the virus, all of which recovered leaving zero active cases and zero reported deaths.
