If you've ever wondered which Nottingham postcodes were the most popular among house buyers, now is the moment of truth.
Property website Zoopla has been analysing and according to its data, the top area in Nottinghamshire, as searched for by house hunters this year, is NG8.
The postcode covers a sizable area and includes a slice of the city running alongside Western Boulevard (from Whitemoor to the University's Jubilee Campus), as well as Cinderhill, Strelley, Broxtowe, Aspley, Bilborough, Beechdale and Wollaton.
Local estate agent Alison Beaumont-Brown, who is senior sales negotiator at Your Move in Wollaton, said: "NG8 covers a wide area and within that postcode areas are popular for different reasons. In Aspley and Bilborough there is affordable housing, a lot of ex-local authority housing which is very popular with first-time buyers.
"Wollaton is also incredibly popular but for different reasons. I've worked here for 30 years and it's the facilities and excellent schooling that are big draws here along with Wollaton Park - it is a semi-rural location. Aspley and Billbough are very different but they are very popular in their own right."
Coming hot on the heels of NG8 is NG6, which takes second place in terms of popularity. This postcode includes Bestwood Village, Old Basford, Highbury Vale and Bulwell.
In third position on the most searched for postcode list is NG5, which runs from Carrington closest to the city, through Sherwood, up to the City Hospital and on through Woodthorpe, Arnold and Daybrook on one side of the A60 and Bestwood, Top Valley and Rise Park on the other side.
The postcode area again covers a huge area spanning to the north of the country through Redhill and up towards The Park Hospital and the borders of Ramsdale Park Golf Centre.
