These are the most expensive Bristol houses sold in March

A five-bedroom Redland home was the most expensive property sold in Bristol in March, it has been revealed.

Located in Clyde Park, it was purchased for £1,250,000 on March 1.

The beautiful detached house boasts three reception rooms, cellars, a garage - and off-street parking.

The second-most expensive house of the month, based in the leafy suburb of Sneyd Park, went for £920,000.

The ground floor contains a reception hall, sitting room, conservatory, dining room, study, kitchen, breakfast room, utility and cloakroom/toilet, while the first floor contains the main bedroom with en suite bathroom/toilet, as well as further bedrooms and a family bathroom/toilet.

Third on the most-expensive list was a semi-detached property on Henleaze Road, which sold for £907,500 on March 1.

It contains five double bedrooms, three bathrooms, a living room, kitchen/dining room, utility room, landscaped garden, garage and off-street parking.

Other areas with at least one property on the list include Stoke Bishop, Clifton and Bishopston.

 Across England and Wales, there were a total of 451 houses which sold for £1 million or more in March, compared with 366 in February.

The most expensive residential sale in March was of a detached property in Camden for £38,500,000, while the cheapest was of a terraced property in Ferryhill, Durham, for £17,250.
