The Merseyside school most likely to get your child into a top British university has been revealed.
Students at the city's Blue Coat School are the most likely in the city to end up attending one of the prestigious Russell Group universities.
Of the 547 pupils who've finished full education at the school since, 55% have gone on to go to attend universities within the group, which includes universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester and Liverpool .
Blue Coat has consistently ranked as one of the best schools in the region, with its students topping the GCSE results table in Merseyside last year.
Four schools from Wirral took the other places in Merseyside's top five, with Wirral Grammar School for Girls sending 47% of its students to Russell Group universities.
For Wirral Grammar School for boys the proportion was 42%, while four in ten students from West Kirkby Grammar went to the Russell Group.
