But have you ever been out of town and noticed your favourite baked item isn't on sale in this unfamiliar territory?
Whether you're hunting a corned beef pasty or a chocolate flake cake, there's actually a good reason why some items seem to be scarce.
There are actually 23 'secret' items you can pick up from the high street bakery chain at different regions across the UK.
It's been revealed that each region has its own 'speciality' items and you won't be able to find them anywhere else; these 'secret' items aren't even publicised on its website or social media accounts.
A Greggs spokesperson said: "Historically our regional bakeries had responsibility for making their own products which resulted in some local Greggs delicacies.
"Some of these were so popular that as the business has grown, we are still selling them today."
There are two items on the list that are exclusive to Wales, as well as a further snack that's only available in Wales and three other regions.
