Scottish Power has come last in a Which? survey of the worst UK brands.

Which? surveyed more than 3501 customers and discovered that energy companies have the worst customer service, with Telecoms not far behind.

One Scottish Power customer said: "They have been incredibly unhelpful, rude and blamed us for a fault they have admitted is their own."

EE was also at the bottom of the table in the same week it was revealed one customer received an email calling him a f****** c*** after he called up to try and pay a bill.

Which said the brands that triumphed in the survey were the ones that made customers feel important.

Lush, which was the top rated UK brand, was labelled: “a great shop in every way”. Customers said that it had a happy atmosphere and welcoming staff.

Which surveyed 3,501 members of the public in May 2015 about the big brands they had interacted with in the previous 12 months, whether face to face or by email, telephone, writing or social networking sites. Brands were chosen based on market share within their sectors and only the largest brands were included.
