These are all of the bank holiday dates for 2020

There's nothing like having a holiday or a long weekend away to look forward to.

And now, if you want to be super organised, you can plan your breaks for 2020 as we have all of the dates of the bank holidays.

But be warned, there is a change to the early bank holiday weekend in May, with it taking place on Friday May 8, rather than on the first Monday of the month as it does traditionally.

This is because it's the VE Day 75th anniversary so it's been moved four days to coincide with that.

These are all of the bank holidays for 2020:

Wednesday, January 1 - New Year's Day

Thursday, January 2 - New Year's Holiday (Scotland only)

Tuesday, March 17 - St Patrick's Day (Northern Ireland only)

Friday, April 10 - Good Friday

Monday, April 13 - Easter Monday (excl Scotland)

Friday, May 8 - Early May Bank Holiday

Monday, May 25 - Spring Bank Holiday

Monday, July 13 - Battle of the Boyne (Northern Ireland only)

Monday, August 3 - Summer Bank Holiday (Scotland only)

Monday, August 31 - Summer Bank Holiday  (excl Scotland)

Monday, November 30 - St Andrew's Day (Scotland only)

Friday, December 25 - Christmas Day

Monday, December 28 - Boxing Day (because it falls on a Saturday it moves to the Monday)
