True love knows no limits and it seems this sentiment extends to our four-legged friends, as two adorable pooches are set to marry in the new year.
A search was underway to find puppy love in Edinburgh, in order to stage a special wedding ceremony for two loved up dogs – and we're not even joking.
The winners, who were chosen by the public, are two adorable dachshunds Nova and Ottis that proved to be pick of the loved up litter.
SKYbar at DoubleTree by Hilton will welcome the cosy canine couple to the venue on Sunday, 23 February for its annual Wedding Showcase event.
They will be treated to a full wedding treatment, which will include an engagement photo shoot at SKYbar against the picturesque backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
Marcello Ventisei, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh City Centre, said: “Many couples involve their pets in their special days, but we wanted to put the spotlight on man’s best friend and unveil pictures of the journey down the aisle for two special dogs at our Wedding Showcase event in February.
“We loved seeing all the picture entries flooding in from across the capital – congratulations to our winners Nova and Ottis.”
