Data released today shows the majority of Ayrshire towns and villages are suppressing coronavirus cases.
Public Health Scotland figures show COVID-19 hotspots and locations where the virus is less prevalent.
And around two-thirds of the region's areas listed by the Scottish Government have now suppressed the virus.
The new update shows that 61 out of 91 areas have the virus in retreat.
South Ayrshire has almost completely suppressed Covid with all but two zones with lowest grade of infections.
Ayrshire as a whole reported 24 new cases in the past 24 hours with 15,561 positive tests being detected since the pandemic began.
The number of people in NHS Ayrshire & Arran hospitals has reduced by four to 71. ICU numbers remain at five.
No new deaths have been recorded across Scotland.
There have been 390 new cases have been recorded with the nation's total now at 205,498.
But cases are so low in a number of Ayrshire areas they've been classes as 'suppressed' to protect patient confidentiality.
East Ayrshire
In East Ayrshire, 21 of the 30 areas are suppressed. Suppressed areas are as follows: Stewarton West; Stewarton East; Southcraig and Beansburn; Shortlees; Northern and Irvine Valley Rural; Newmilns; New Farm Loch South; New Cumnock; Mauchline Rural; Mauchline; Kilmarnock South Central and Caprington; Galston; Earlston and Hurlford Rural; Doon Valley South; Doon Valley North; Dean and New Farm Loch North; Darvel; Cumnock Rural; Bonnyton and Town Centre; Auchinleck; and Altonhill South, Longpark and Hillhead.
East Ayrshire's COVID-19 hotspot is Drongan where the zone has a seven-day rate per 100,000 of 359.4
North Ayrshire
Irvine East (290.3) currently has the highest case rate at the moment in North Ayrshire.
Meanwhile, 17 of the 37 North Ayrshire zones areas are suppressed. Suppressed areas are as follows: Stevenston Ardeer; Springside and Rural; Skelmorlie and Rural; Largs North; Largs Central and Cumbrae; Kilwinning Pennyburn; Irvine Tarryholme; Irvine Girdle Toll and Stanecastle; Irvine Fullarton; Irvine Castlepark North; Irvine Broomlands; Fairlie and Rural; Dreghorn; Dalry West; Beith West; Beith East and Rural; and Arran.
South Ayrshire
In South Ayrshire, Castlehill and Kincaidston has the highest case rate with 191.6.
In South Ayrshire, 23 of the 25 areas are suppressed. Suppressed areas are as follows: Troon, Prestwick West; Prestwick East; Prestwick Airport and Monkton; Newton North; Muirhead; Maybole; Lochside, Braehead and Whitletts; Holmston and Forehill; Heathfield; Girvan Glendoune; Girvan Ailsa; Dundonald, Loans and Symongton; Craigie; Coylton; Carrick South; Carrick North; Belmont; Barassie; Ayr North Harbour, Wallacetown and Newton South; Annbank, Mossblown and Tarbolton – the coalfields; and Alloway and Doonfoot.
