Theresa May’s Brexit deal faces strong DUP opposition

Theresa May’s Brexit deal faces strong DUP opposition

Some of the strongest opponents of British Prime Minister Theresa May's deal with the European Union are in Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), which props up her minority government.

The staunchly pro-British, pro-Brexit party is afraid that May's deal could split the United Kingdom.

Al Jazeera's Laurence Lee reports from Belfast.
