There will be no trains running between Edinburgh and Dunbar on Saturday

There will be no trains running between Edinburgh Waverley and Dunbar this weekend.

Network Rail will be carrying out track maintenance works on Saturday with ScotRail announcing that there will be no services on the line in East Lothian as a result.

Passengers hoping to travel from Drem, Longniddry, Prestonpans, Wallyford and Musselburgh stations will all be affected, along with those hoping to travel west from Dunbar. Buses will be in operation on the day.

Saturdays 5 and 12 October will also see works carried out on the line, with the stretch of railway closed off.
