‘There will be enough for everyone’: Israeli minister reassures injured son he’ll get to commit crimes against humanity when he’s better

When senior Israeli politicians look out over the ruin that was once Gaza and cast their eyes over the mountains of child corpses, do you think they ever have an “are we the baddies?” moment? Probably not, or they wouldn’t keep saying and doing absolutely nightmarish and evil things each and every day.

Case in point, Israeli Minister of Finance and self-described fascist Bezalel Smotrich, who has previously described starving two million civilians as “justified and moral“, said Palestinians are a “fictitious people“, and called for the population of Gaza to be “concentrated” (maybe in some kind of camp?) so they understand “there is no hope“.

Woah! Settle down, Skeletor! Leave some supervillainy for the rest of the Legion of Doom!

Smotrich and his family are now reaping the consequences of Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, with his IDF soldier son Baruch suffering shrapnel injuries from a mortar attack in March 2026. Smotrich the younger saw metal shards tear through his back and abdomen, destroying his liver, and just missing an artery.

The road to recovery is long, but in a new interview, Smotrich revealed he’s reassured his injured son that he’ll be back in action committing crimes against humanity soon:

As translated by X, Smotrich believes it’ll just be a “few months” until Baruch is recovered, saying his son has demanded that Israel not “finish the work” and that they “leave him more to do”. In a touching father-son moment, Smotrich reassured him that there will still be plenty of Lebanese civilians to murder: “Don’t worry, there will be enough for everyone”.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Unfortunately for the Smotrich family, Donald Trump has other ideas. Clearly frustrated with Israel completely ignoring his ceasefires and repeatedly inflaming tensions with Iran, Trump confirmed the United States is going “to work with Lebanon“, saying he wants to host both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at the White House soon.

Is it foolish to believe that Israel might stick to an agreement not to bomb their neighbors into dust and massacre? Well, given that Smotrich is promising his injured son he’ll be back terrorizing women and children with a rifle soon, we somehow doubt it.
