When it comes to fast food, everyone has their favorites (and stand strongly by them). That has led to some great rivalries — In-N-Out vs. Shake Shack immediately comes to mind.
But on Monday, a full-fledged Twitter debate broke out for the release of Popeyes’ new chicken sandwich. This morphed into a battle narrowed down between Popeyes and Chick-fil-A.
Now, I haven’t tried the new Popeyes sandwich yet, but at the very least, the early reviews for the new sandwich have me intrigued — especially the jokes coming in from the sports world.
After all, a debate over fast-food fried chicken sandwiches was made for sports. It doesn’t have to make sense.
