There’s still no timetable on Titans RB Derrick Henry’s recovery

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is set to be one of the most effective players of the Titans’ offense in 2019.

But a lower leg injury suffered on the second day of training camp practice may set him back slightly. Titans Insider’s Terry McCormick reported Saturday that he was in a walking boot, indicating an issue with the ankle or foot.

Henry hasn’t practiced with the team since sustaining the injury on Friday.

Fortunately for the Titans, the issue doesn’t appear to be severe.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday that he’s hearing the situation is “minor,” and shouldn’t keep him sidelined for a significant amount of time.

Henry finished the 2018 season in prolific fashion after a slow start, totaling 215 carries for 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns by the end of it.

There is currently no timetable for Henry’s return.
