There's something fishy going on at West Lothian country park

Are you looking for something different to do during the Easter holidays with the kids?

Forth Rivers Trust will be at Almondell and Calderwood visitor centre next Thursday to release the fish that have been growing as part of the Fish in the Community project over the past few weeks.

Turn up at the visitor centre for 10am to find out how the fish have got on.

Those taking part will then walk down to the river and release them into their new home.

Afterwards, there will be a range of other activities from our habitat throw game, eels and ladders, bug hunting, and more.

So head on down for 10am to see the release but the group will be in the park until 1pm with the additional activities for all to get involved with.

You don’t need to book on. You can just show up.

The event is being run by Friends of Almondell and Calderwood Country Park West Lothian Council.
