"There's only one Stuart Douglas!" Leeds United fans bemused by Sky Sports commentator's mistakes

Given how much Leeds United are on Sky Sports, you'd expect the commentators to be well acquainted with the Whites squad.

Marcelo Bielsa's side were once again chosen for the TV for their trip to Oakwell to face Barnsley in an all-Yorkshire affair.

A win for United would take them back to the top of the Championship after Swansea City's defeat against Nottingham Forest yesterday.

It was the Swans who knocked Leeds off their perch prior to the International break with a 1-0 smash-and-grab win at Elland Road.

After a first defeat of the season, Bielsa's side were keen to make amends against their near neighbours.

Stuart Dallas has been one of the Whites' stand-out performers so far this season, deputising at right-back for the injured Luke Ayling.

The Northern Irishman signed a new four-year deal with the club in the week, reflecting his fine start to the campaign.

On the other flank, Ezgjan Alioski has outed Barry Douglas in the left-back spot.

However, it seems United have managed to hybrid the two with a new dynamic signing, according to the Hull-born Sky Sports commentator Rob Palmer.

We're all human, but it wasn't a great look for the broadcasters when "Stuart Douglas" was named to be bombing down the touchline in the first half at Oakwell.

Oh, and lets not forget the constant confusion between Adam Forshaw and Jamie Shackleton, despite the former not being in the matchday 18.

Of course, Leeds fans have jumped all over it and are thrilled with the performance of their new signing.

They took to social media to voice their amusement at the gaff and here is a selection of their best responses.
