He believes Boris Johnson and Michael Gove behaved appallingly during the referendum campaign.
Presumably this is the same Johnson and the same Gove he thought suitable for seats around his Cabinet table?
You can add to the list of Cameron’s many flaws his terrible character judgment. The self-pity at being stabbed in the back by his mates would command some sympathy but he happily played dirty when it suited him.
That, in the end is Cameron’s dismal legacy. He divided his party and his country. Few will weep at the plight of the Tories. Any tears should be shed for the victims of Cameron’s welfare cuts.
Their stories are far more important than a Bullingdon boys’ bust-up.
