There’s ‘no timetable’ as to when we’ll know what the Titans’ offensive line looks like

The Tennessee Titans are a work in progress as a whole as the team goes through offseason preparations, but there’s one unit in particular that stands out the most.

The offensive line could undergo some serious changes before the 2019 season kicks off.

The left side is practically set in stone, with Taylor Lewan at left tackle and Rodger Saffold at left guard. Ben Jones will be at center.

The right side, however, poses more question marks.

Nate Davis, Jamil Douglas, Kevin Pamphile and Aaron Stinnie and Jamil Douglas are in competition at guard, while it will be a hard-fought battle for the right tackle position between Dennis Kelly and Jack Conklin.

It’s safe to say Conklin hasn’t been himself since he was initially injured, and that Kelly did outperform him while taking his place.

Head coach Mike Vrabel says he doesn’t have a clear time set in his head as to when a decision will be made on the starting five.

“There’s no timetable for me,” he said in a report by the team’s Jim Wyatt. “We’re going to practice, and we’re going to have competition. And by the time we go to Cleveland in 87 days, I know we’re going to have what we feel like is the best five guys starting and the most versatile guys backing them up.”

It will certainly be a competition to keep an eye on as the unit has already undergone significant changes with roster moves ahead of the season.
