There's an unclaimed £1m Lotto jackpot in Manchester - is it you?

Just imagine what you would do with £1 MILLION pounds.

Well it might not need to be a dream situation for one Manchester local as there is a mystery Lotto winner in the area.

But they need to get a move on as they have just one month left to claim the amazing prize - and let's face it, you would be devastated to find out days or weeks later that it was in fact you all along.

The win relates to the Lotto draw on January 9, 2019, and the only known information is that it was bought in the city.

The winning numbers on that date were 3, 17, 36, 42, 51, 57 and the bonus ball was 18 . The winner matched five main numbers and the bonus ball to win the prize.

National Lottery players are now being urged to check their past tickets as the life-changing amount will be unavailable to claim after July 8, 2019.

Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at The National Lottery, said: "Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.

"We're urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing Lotto ticket could be hiding.

"This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there."

Although it will be a huge loss to the unsuspecting winner if they don't claim the prize in time, the money does not go to waste.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

The National Lottery changes the lives of individuals as well as communities with players raising, on average, around £30m for National Lottery-funded projects every week.

In Manchester alone, more than 7,000 individual National Lottery grants have been awarded to help projects across the arts, sports, heritage, health, education, environment, charity and voluntary sectors.
