There’s no doubt we’re all facing a very different summer this year, with pubs still closed and festivals off the table.
But thankfully one company is trying to fill the void with a virtual beer festival.
Beer52's Cyber Fest has all the components you’d expect from a beer festival, adapted for the current lockdown situation, reports the M.E.N .
Fans taking part will get top-end beers and a branded festival glass delivered to their door ahead of the event, with sessions taking place over two days.
Each session will take place through a four-hour live stream, where there will be tastings, brewery tours, quizzes and other fun from breweries across the globe.
Your ticket, which costs £34.99 per person, will get you 12 beers, the glass and a beer guide, ready for the live stream on the Beer 52 YouTube channel.
This is the second time that Beer52's Cyber Fest has taken place, with the first selling out in a matter of hours and attracting 20,000 viewers.
Breweries confirmed for the festival include Lost & Grounded, Pomona Island, La Trappe, Dougall's, and Dogma, with more to be announced.
Sessions will take place on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, with the option to buy a weekend pass if you fancy a two-day festival experience in your home.
Beers will be shipped from May 25 to make sure they arrive in time.
The craft beer club hopes that the virtual festivals will help to support breweries through the coming months.
