There's a rude sex joke in Frozen that went completely over our heads as kids

Rewatching a film that you loved when you were a kid can be a hilarious experience as an adult - especially when realise just how many jokes you missed out on.

When you've reached adulthood and discovered all the things you weren't allowed to know as a child, it can be hard to believe that you missed some of the innuendo-laden jokes.

But creators of kids films and TV shows do a good job of making sure the parent is also entertained when having to watch something made for a child.

People were left in stitches after discovering one such moment in a hit Disney film that escaped many of us when we watched it the first time around.

The 2013 blockbuster follows sisters Anna and Elsa and sees the former become engaged to Prince Hans.

But what younger viewers have probably missed is the foot size joke about the prince.

As Anna and iceman Kristoff journey through the frozen forest in a bid to find Elsa, he quizzes the princess on how much she actually knows about her future husband.

She ventures that his best mate's name is "probably John", and his favourite food is sandwiches, while his eye colour is "dreamy."

Kristoff then cheekily asks what his foot size is, and she blithely replies: "Foot size doesn't matter."

This was likely missed by younger viewers, but adults watching will have realised that it was clearly a joke about Hans' manhood.

Meanwhile, family favourite Hercules, which was released 24 years ago, also features a rather rude moment.

Disney fans have recently noticed the animated movie is not as innocent as they initially remembered it to be.

It turns out there's a rather X-rated moment in one of the fight scenes that we all missed when watching it as children.
