There's a Prince themed boozy brunch event happening in Glasgow

Dig out the purple clothing and grab a hold of a Raspberry Beret - there's a Prince themed boozy brunch happening in Glasgow next month.

The Grosvenor Cafe in Ashton Lane in the west end of the city is hosting the event to celebrate the musician's birthday (a week earlier) on Saturday, June 15.

There will be a special early screening of the movie Purple Rain at the Grosvenor Cinema, before the cafe hosts its boozy brunch to pay homage to the life of the pop legend.

The cafe's mezzaine area will be transformed into a 'purple paradise', alongside themed cocktails and the greatest Prince's songs and entertainment from CJ Banks and Ru Jazzle.

Purple Rain – Boozy Brunch begins at 10:45 am and runs until 1:45pm.
