There's a pop-up cafe for Dachshund dogs coming to Glasgow - here's how to get involved

Glasgow is a city that caters to all, whether that be human or animal and for one day only it will be catering to Dachshund dogs.

A pop-up cafe celebrating everything to do with the sausage dog is coming to Revolution on Mitchell Street this October bringing together owners and fans of the breed alike.

The Pup Up Cafe event will be taking over the whole venue to allow the dogs to run free - because they've been on lockdown too.

The events usually bring together around 150 Dachshunds and owners throughout the day with lots of things to keep everyone entertained.

According to the organisers, the event will consist of mingling with furry friends, unlimited dog treats, unlimited puppuccinos, professional photographers to take pictures of your pooch, competitions, trade stands, and a good old fashioned ball pit.

Kids under eight and dogs go free and each ticketholder will be given a reserved time session prior to the event.

The Pup Up Cafe says the events are popular so it's best to grab a ticket beforehand to avoid disappointment. Covid guidelines will be followed at all times.
