Details of a new cruise have been revealed - and it is dedicated solely to all things chocolatey.
The eight-day chocolate extravaganza sails around the Mediterranean in the aptly-named Eurochocolate Cruise.
It's a collaboration between Italian cruise line Costa Cruises and the annual international chocolate festival , Eurochocolate, which usually takes place in Perugia, Italy.
It is centred entirely around chocolate, with the full trip focused on the sweet treat.
Guests who book on the inaugural trip will be able to look forward to a whole host of chocolate-related events and activities including themed workshops, excursions, classes and importantly, lots of tasting sessions.
There will also be daily chocolate-centric trips at each port, with a special trip to the Chocolate Museum of Barcelona .
A wealth of chocolate will also be found on-board, starting with one of the famous Eurochocolate chocolate sculptures that will be made on the spot by a master chocolatier.
Some of the other sessions will include pairing different types of chocolate with wine and a variety of Mediterranean dishes and an exclusive cooking show with food blogger Sonia Peronaci of Giallo Zafferano.
Costa Cruises' Italy Country manager, Carlo Schiavon said: "We try to offer unique experiences to our guests and this is possible thanks to prestigious partnerships like the one with Eurochocolate.
“[It] will allow us to have for the first time aboard a cruise ship the vibe, the fun and the tastes of the greatest international festival dedicated to chocolate”.
All travellers will be treated to an exclusive Eurochocolate Welcome Kit in their cabin with edible gifts and chocolate-themed gadgets.
The Eurochocolate Cruise will set sail aboard the Costa Pacifica, departing from Civitavecchia, Italy, on April 16, 2020, and docking along its route in Genoa, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Malta and Catania.
