Southsiders have a new reason be excited for the area's food scene with the news that a new bar and brasserie is to open next month in Giffnock.
Ca Va Bar and Brasserie will open in the spot vacated by coffee house and wine bar Cherry Tree (and former Clydesdale Bank) on Fenwick Road not far from Giffnock train station.
Info is thin on the ground at the moment, but reports suggest the new venture is from the team behind spots such as Mezzidakia and Topolabamba in Glasgow city centre.
What we do know is that Ca Va Bar and Brasserie will open on Tuesday, March 3.
