You can now party under the wings of one of the last remaining Concordes in the world.
Taking place in a hangar at Manchester Airport, guests can party the night away underneath the iconic supersonic jet.
The legendary Concorde G-BOAC, one of just three in the UK, will be just 2m over the heads of party-goers, in what is thought to be a UK first, giving party-goers the chance to get up close and personal with one of the world’s most famous planes.
This one, in particular, carried The Queen herself multiple times.
Headlining the night is house artist Dan Shake of Sulta Selects, with support from Paradiso Records founder REES. Organisers promise a soundtrack of sparky acid, Brazilian samba, itchy funk, heavyweight house and more throughout the night.
There will also be sets from Hebie Saccani (Hacienda/Moovin), Swales (Rhythm Department) and Surco Residents.
The event will have a fully stocked bar with everything including beer, wine, prosecco and a wide selection of spirits plus food options available.
Timings for the night will run from 5pm till 1am, with last entry at 7pm.
Guests will also be invited to an afterparty at the Brickworks in the city centre for those who want to carry on into the early hours.
The runway is just a stone's throw from the party, and guests be able to see aircraft taking off and landing throughout the event.
