Prime Minister Theresa May is officially stepping down this Friday, June 7, and Liverpool ’s Bierkeller is celebrating in style.
To celebrate what the bar is calling ‘Trexit’, Bierkeller is throwing a Theresa May Exit party with funny props, themed cocktails and a DJ sets.
Guests can enjoy the party indoors or outside in the beer garden, with Theresa May masks, red bunting - in honour of the Labour Party - and themed cocktails such as the Blue Buffoon, May Day and Dancing Queen.
Bierkeller posted on Facebook: “Oh hey Trexit.
“As you all may know, Theresa May has stepped down and is officially exiting on Friday 7th June.
"Bierkeller are being lovely and are throwing Theresa May a leaving party... so WE can all celebrate!”.
The party will be held all day and night for anyone who wants to celebrate.
A spokesperson for Bierkelller Liverpool said: "Our city is red.
"We're just having some light hearted fun and throwing a day & night party as we believe it's a cause for celebration.
"That's two wins in one week!".
The event is completely free to attend on June 7, though guests must pre-book a free ticket via Skiddle .
