There is nothing better than indulging your sweet tooth and discovering new foods.
A new continental market is heading to Southport ’s popular Lord Street this summer, with around 30 food and craft stalls to choose from.
Traders from around the world will be pitching up on the high street to display the best products their respective countries have to offer.
The market is operated by Continental Street Market, which runs similar events across the UK, including the ever popular market in New Brighton .
There will be a smorgasbord of continental dishes available at the market, including everything from Greek gyros, German bratwurst, Thai noodles and Spanish paella.

Along with this, visitors can indulge in baklava, churros, crepes, and even discover a range of flavoured cheeses and hand roasted coffee beans.
Amongst the stalls will be a selection of crafts traders, offering items such as dreamcatchers, Peruvian knitwear, and even flowerpot men figures.
This summer’s events will see the return of international markets to Lord Street as they had previously been.

Tony Walsh, managing director of RR Events said “It’s great to be working with Sefton Council to bring the international markets back to Lord Street.
“We hope to deliver an event that the town can be proud of, and that will be just as popular amongst the locals and tourists".
The Southport Continental Street Market will be visiting the town twice this summer, on July 4 - 7, and August 15 - 18.
