The Vikings missed wide receiver Adam Thielen in Thursday night’s win over the Redskins due to a hamstring injury.
Thielen, with some extra time off, is expected to be back for the team in Week 9 when the Vikings travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs.
“I think there’s a good chance Adam [Thielen] will be back next week,” Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said after Thursday night’s win.
Thielen is an instrumental part of this offense, making the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons.
On the season, Thielen has 27 catches for 391 yards and an NFL-leading six touchdown receptions.
